| what about every other non-album song by them as in "Lovers Eyes" he clearly says "Lord please take away my sins" if that's not a connection to Christianity I don't know what is | |

I think one or 2 members must be christian because of the obvious undertone but I think not all of them are. I just realised "I Gave You All" is actually about Job, read that book of the bible then discuss. |

Almost all their songs (Little Lion Man the exeption because of swearing) are about being christaim.Burgundy I completly agree. Even if they arnt doing it intentionally I belive the holy spirt is working through them. Many times I've been encouriged about Jesus because of this band. |

I think live unbruised means that when we sin we get a sinking feeling of regret, shame and lonlyness. When we confess our sins (later said as "I'm Sorry") we feel strength as our sins are forgiven and that feeling or "bruise" is gone so by living unbruiesd you are confessing your sins. When we trust in Jesus we are never alone, The Holy Spirt one of the three forms of the one God, is always with us helping us when we need it, hence "We"- the trinity, "Are Friend"- Always with us. twanicuss I think your right it is refering to how Jesus walked on water Peter was afraid and didn't have complete faith in jesus so he "didn't have both feet in the sea. And lakajj if mumford and sons use God as a metephor explain their son Awake my Soul that song is christainity 101 |
