Does anyone know the meaning behind her saying "I'm your Chyna Girl"? It is driving me crazy not knowing what she is referring to when she calls herself a china girl. |

I believe the song is in fact about a kid going postal on the cool kids and his father. I also agree with everyone that says that there was drugs in the box where he found the gun, and part of the lyrics is the side-effects from the drugs. The line "all the other kids with the pumped up kicks", I think that he also owns a pair of these cool shoes. His dad probably abuses him. The song says that his dad is bringing home a surprise. Maybe he's father gets drunk and beats him, and then like many abusive people brings his son a gift to try to win him back over. Perhaps one of those gifts was a pair of shoes. The other kids with these shoes are probably the ones who picked on him in school. So maybe that is where the line "All the other kids" comes from. |
