"In too deep and lost in time. why'd you have to go and let it die?" the "in too deep" part may be referring to the body drowning in water in the music video. "lost in time" most likely refers to one of the band member's dogs, of whom the song was written in memory of. |

The song is obviously about the things you need to to stay safe in prison. "Oh, don't pick up the soap" is a reference to the old "Don't drop the soap" gag. "Oh, don't be no one's bitch" is saying don't team up with your cellmate because they'll use you and like the song says won't help you make it through. it's common sense. i haven't gone to prison but everybody should know. |
