| I'm glad someone posted Patty's own comments about how she came to write this song. It's one of my favorites from her. I love the sweet story of the little girl going on a trip with her momma holding her hand. And the background of the whole trip is the beautiful anthem she sings to the sun in thankfulness for spring. This song nearly always makes me cry - but then I always say that Patty Griffin could sing about breakfast cereal and make me cry. | |
