I'm in the same boat you are in. I was with this girl for two years and I swore I was going to make her my wife. Needless to say, she dumped me a couple months ago. I'm not the same person that I was at all, it's hard for me to go through life knowing that I won't be with her. I know that I will love her forever, which will be even harder for me to move on. Hopefully I can have the same success that you've been able to have, being able to move on and get over her. |

This song hits me every time I hear it, especially since coming out of a long, serious relationship recently. It's been two months and it still hasn't gotten any easier for me to just put it behind. We had so many memories and every little thing reminds me of her, even just driving down the road and driving past a store that we went to or a restaurant we would go to sometimes. It's amazing how attached to someone we can get. This song, even though they are a Christian band, can easily be used to show love. Even though it is over, you know that you can't "be the same" after being with them, because they became a part of you. I'm facing that issue right now, I can't cope with life knowing that she won't be in my arms. |
