I always feel this song is a love song. Yes, there's all the shallow sounding lyrics about guys with lots of money and expensive cars. But the way I see it, she's talking about a particular, shy and clever fellow that she's in love with because they are compatible. The 'Super bass' (to me) is the heartbeat you get when in love. The whole second lyric, to me, is her saying that, although she has guys after her all the time, trying really hard and 'putting the mack on', she prefers the guy she's with. It's Love, rap-style. |
