The song actually refers to Billy's addiction to heroin. Of course and can be taken in the straight forward context however Billy Paul wrote the song in reference to his addiction. And how hard it was to stop. We meet everyday at the same cafe, 6:30 and no one knows she'll be there. But it's much to strong to let it go now |
