I think this song is a reflection on effect of the media on our lifes and on our view of the world. Hint's for me are: The title (Shutterspeed), lyric "coma shell" (commercial), "The voices cry, the fashion mould", "Speak to me now with guilded tounge", "These suckers want more, I feel the pressure belonging to all", "Put fear into my mind". The song may be about multiple topics but the "media" seems to be the strongest theme to me. Reminds a bit of Vicarious by Tool. |
