| Brand New – Luca Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| You're an idiot if you think at this point, Jesse was still writing about that TBS drama haha. I swear, fanboys are always trying to make connections between those two bands. | |
| Taking Back Sunday – You Got Me Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I feel bad for Keaton Lazzara when he finds out one day that his dad wrote a song about how he was a mistake.. | |
| Say Anything – About Falling (feat. Matt Skiba & Laura Kirsch) Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| What I don't get, is if this song is about Max's ex Laura Kirschner, how and why does she do guest vocals at the end? | |
| Mayday Parade – Without the Bitter the Sweet Isn't As Sweet Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
It's about Jason. Boom. "We were envied until the point The point in which we fell" Jason was a huge part of Mayday and was a part of their success, but they "fell" a bit with Anywhere But Here due to his departure. "Because you don't get lucky twice And that's the truth" Using the word "Lucky" refers to Lucky Street by Go Radio. He's warning Jason that his leaving Mayday Parade was his one "lucky" shot at success, and Go Radio won't be as good or as successful as Mayday Parade was when he was a part of the band. This, all, is of course, a guess. I could be (and probably am) totally wrong. However, I read somewhere on absolutepunk that Jason has once said "Without the Bitter the Sweet Isn't as Sweet" was a line/phrase he really liked. Seems like a huge coincidence, possibly. |
