I have a slightly different take: "Katy" is someone who was trying to get him off the drugs and "Dr. Wu" is the drug (cocaine or heroin). "Dr. Wu" is also the dealer who arrives with the fix "the taste you said you'd bring to me" being the high from the drug. "Katy lied" references how much better he feels now he has his fix (Katy lied in saying he would be better without the drugs). "Has she finally got to you" is Katy wanting the dealer/drugs to go away, but they are the crutch "are you with me Dr." is like a plea for more drug. |
