i personally like the electric guitar version better, but its nice to hear that the entire band is so talented they can go from something like im so sick to this. its a beautiful song, and you can tell theyre all strong in God. |

this song is about myles' friend who died or killed himself or something when they were kids. the song is dedicated to him, if you look in the little book in the Blackbird CD case, it says it. this song is just saying that he remembers his dead friend, and still loves him. |

i agree with you. its none of this relationship crap theyre all talking about. plus, brent smith was addicted to drugs until his son was born so that makes it seem like makes a lot more sense. |

I always thought this song was about drugs. You know how Brent Smith was addicted to Oxycontin and stuff before he had his kid. When i listen to it, i think of it as saying addiction to drugs totally overpowers the rest of your life. i never ever thought of it as being about a relationship. |
