| In my opinion, the song describes a couple that is in a crisis in their relationship. They know that they love each other ('what we know is right'), but in that specific moment they have problems. Although, she tells him (that's what I think, could also be the other way around?) that they have to stay together and there will be better times ('we can be alright'). When you're in a relationship, that is the point to decide whether to stay together or to separate. And in that song the couple probably stays together :) | |
