Ending my interpretation of the whole album... this last song was the inspiration ... this is a resume of all the album... The main character is here... close to dead ... with his love one... and decide to let go... knowing that the world is beautiful, knowing that all will be OK. And that all that give meaning to the life is the love... think about the love as the one that you feel for you love ones, wife, brothers, sisters, parents... friends... the real love... the one that make you complete.. All the song has this melancholy there because you are dying.. so your thoughts are for the ones you really love and they are the fire in the sky, the light in the dark... and no matter what happen even if you die.. you will be there for those who you really love... and at this point.. I shed a tear... Anathema is the best band for make your feelings explode... |

Continuing the interpretation that I begin in the first song... This song looks like the end of everything.. is like the main character died...and is getting close to the next step... pur your belives and personal opinions here because this song don´t have a religion .. is for all... you just are close to peace to the paradise even if you think you are getting star dust or if you belive in one god .. everything will fit this song... even the reincarnation .. you could be that lost child... In an interview Danny said that in the last albums (since "a fine day to exit" I think) they begin to construct the album around the penultimate song.. so this is the main song of the album... and then you have the next and last song... |

continuing the album line.. in this one the main character is dying.. trapped by the weaves of the sea... like the full anathema songs.. you can interpret the songs as you want, I love this song and I think is beauty and can be sung to a beloved girl (or boy) But I really feel that the album is a full story and this one put the end after that the spoken part 1st voice Not being able speak was just fears day and night .. I almost agree with @nkfree But is not love or she.. I think he is speaking to humanity the "tiny words" is the empty thoughts of all the people. He feel sad about all and realize that he needs to full him self with strength even if the strength is a mask and not real.. The intro is not emo.. is sad an spooky put you on a state of scare or paranoia but that is the key.. is the feeling of lost control |
