Love this song, but one thing confuses me. I thought that in legend, Medusa was pretty, so pretty infact that she ended up with Poseidon and an enraged Athena (the Goddess whose temple she was a maiden in) turned her into a Gorgon as punishment. If this is true then the lines in the song about Medusa being young and her mother lying about her being pretty makes no sense... |

Sounds cool except for one teeny thing... Mordred is the son being sung to. He's a boy and this song is the lullaby sung to him by his mother Morgan Le Fay (who is some legends is also known as Morgause). She birthed Mordred, and he eventually took down his Father, Margan Le Faye's half-brother, King Arthur. |
