| Based on the video and the song lyrics I believe "Can't Speak" is referring to all the people that have followed terrible leaders out of fear... fear that if they do speak up they could be persecuted the way they are now persecuting the "other" people. I'm sure there were many young German soldiers that had felt "already dead" that were "thinking of a suicide". This analogy also works with any solider in any war.. or any time someone doesn't speak up and watches and/or participates in horrific acts upon others. | |
