This song is about dealing cocaine as a fledgling band in order to support themselves. The road cases "proctect [their] asses, protect [their] faces" because they are using them to smuggle drugs. They contemplate putting their full name on the cases, then just "DBT", in case an authority figure happens across them and they can claim ignorance. They have plans to get "[themselves] a big tour bus, maybe even an airplane" alluding to the possibility that success as a band plus drug dealing money might allow them extra money for upgrading their means of travel. In the end, they either have to sell off the road cases themselves to pay back the higher-up dealer whom they got their supply from because, I assume, they did most of the drugs themselves... or they just say that they're selling off the cases to allude to selling the drugs in the cases to pay the dealer. |
