While the title track is the Son of Alerik, is an instrument song played by Ritchie Blackmore from the album Perfect Stanger, yand released in 1984, when the formation reunion DP Mark II (Roger Glover and Ian Gillan)

This song which is unique but is actually a real epics, "Feel the Benefit", really really excellent as far as epics go, but rips off "Venus and Mars" AND "Dear Prudence", and REALLY preachy; "If you get something valuable from the person or event you have ever experienced, and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others" |
