This song IS about Lights relationship with God. She answered my question on reddit and told me it was in reference mostly to Psalm 1 (specifically the first line). I understand that lots of her fans are not christians and so for some reason they get angry when people try to claim her songs are about anything religious but I think it's beautiful that she isn't afraid to show her faith. |
