To me this song has always felt like someone who felt like they should grow up "Their antics on the page they're on can no longer sustain me...the shackles of the way I was can no longer contain me" but then they feel lost without the thing they gave up "Now I can't sing I can't feel I don't know what is real" and eventually they decide to go back to it "Now I know what true love means goodbye to reality and set sail for dreamsy " I'm probably wrong and I can't decide what it is they gave up, because of the "antics on the page" it makes me think of comics but I doubt it's so simple. But anyway, that's what I always think of when I hear it. |
