i dislike rihanna quite a bit, but this song is just special for some reason. I can't stop thinking about it and what it means. There are so many theories on what "We found love in a hopeless place" can mean. Its probably one of the best song lyrics I've heard in quite a while, simple yet deep. My opinions have changed a few times but the one I've been stuck on for awhile now is that the song is in fact about drugs and love. The couple found love through the use of drugs. At the beginning there was rapture and high spirits but eventually the drugs took their toll and dissolved the relationship. There was no hope for them because their dependency on drugs to be happy was also their downfall. I likfe Britt143's evaluation as well. |
