i am no scholar. i am human however i live life day by day and i was once a skeptic of the Faith that was spoon fed to me all my life. i've been to jail, i've been through some tough times. you would think then that only someone in such a weak condition would accept the Lord. But no, that wasn't the case i kept on denying God and it led me to nothing but a life of regret and imcompletion (led me, not all of you OK?...not inferring or judging anyone for it's not my place to judge anyone...that is left for the Lord)...i woke up feeling as if there was a reason to keep going on, so i set aside my thoughts of suicide and final exams and actually prayed. As simple minded the concept may seem to some, i challenge you to actually clear your mind and talk with the Lord, but try it if you only mean it, if you don't then what i'm saying is worth nothing and i understand that may be the case for some and you know what?...different strokes for different folks But if you do talk with God, "listen" to Him as well. forgive me society, when i take a stand and say He is the only the Way. i'm not trying to step on any toes, it's just the Truth. just like any other loving relationship it takes the effort of two...that is how a relationship with God works. He loves us all, but we have to love Him in return to attain that feeling which leads Jesus Freaks to write their songs....have their lyrics posted on web-sites and debated about over two years. What kind of momentum is that?...that's awesome! After all our Savior's Truth has been on a roll for 2,000 years or so, we've got momentum baby! and i'm very sincere in my belief that whoever should read this post and all the others whether it be for the first time or the hundreth time...it is His Will. y'all are great. |

| This song as told to us in Kmax's book from 2001, "Unfinished Work", was inspired by some acquaintances made in the past who were dabbling in some crazy stuff, elements which conflicted with Kmax's way of living. i.e. the occult. the song's background could represent the fast pace that the mind and heart takes in conflicting with the spirit. | |

groups like DC and Jimmy Eat World are a blessing to the music industry. No more Korn [self-angst] crap. I was once a hard core Korn/Metallica fan...then i traded my skateboard for a guitar and this song has been a major influence in my decision to accept a better type of sound. C'mon y'all request these guys and make them not main stream.....just make them be heard. And If You Are Into this i suggest you take a look at some of the lyrics from a band i befriended not too long ago called GoodSon...they would appreciate any feed back from other people. I've only added two songs on this site, but they are on here. LATER. |

GoodSon...is a group that i know of personally and they don't want to convey a message that will give answers to people's problem...nor do they want to spawn problems for people...the music is something you can listen to with your girlfriend or boyfriend while driving down the road and some of the slower stuff...*ting* very good [GoodSon]..... This song is about a guy who will put the chance of moving on with life on hold and allow his girl enough room to breathe and see what life has in store for them...very good song..something to think of. patience is a virtue and love strives on them. |
