hi! this is a very difficult thing to explain. it is saying that something should have happened a long time ago but took a very long time to occur. like if a girl and i have feelings for eachother but nothing happens for a very long time. and then eventually we kiss, and we both feel like should have happened a long time ago and has been needing to happen. |

My heart is broken, too. What are they doing? What route are they going? I don't get why they're selling out- they have loads and loads of money, its not like getting money is the motive. Their music has helped me through (and been on repeat for)the last 10 years and is the soundtrack to my heart and life. Viva la Vida was a masterpiece and in my opinion the best album musically, lyrically, and visually to ever be released by anyone, ever. You cannot call (Mylo Zyloto? wtf?) bad, but I can. Truthfully, its awful. I heard the singles in the summer, was disappointed, but promptly reassured myself saying that they just put those crap songs out there for kicks and giggles and secretly had treasure waiting for us. I downloaded the album at midnight and after 1 pass I thought about throwing it out. All I could think was "what is this crap?" Us against the world and dont let it break your heart are barely tolerable, but I was looking (and had been waiting years) for more Swallowed in the Sea, Reign of love and Strawberry Swing (my fav songs by them, in order.) |

I almost cried when I heard this album. I'm a huge CP fan and after they released some singles in the summer I was rather disappointed, but I believed the album would contain hidden treasure- everyone is allowed some room for crap, and I well remembered the days Violet Hill was the new single. I downloaded (Mylo Zyloto? wtf language is that??)it at midnight and at around 2am I almost cried after one complete pass through the album. Your comment about this album entirely sums up how I feel about it. I hate Rihianna and I cant believe she is included on this album. What is Coldplay doing? Viva la Vida was a masterpiece musically, lyrically.. and the whole image of that album was brilliant. The whole album ran in a loop, the music was fantastic, the lyrics were great.. I spent most of 09 and 2010 with that album on repeat. Reign of Love and Strawberry Swing are two of the most important songs of my life and then I heard this and I almost cried. Paradise is a paradownfall of a piece of crap to ever come off a CP album.. their new videos are awful.
"Barely tolerable" is an overstatement. |
