i look at this song as an aspect of a twisted reality. i see that these guys are focusing primarily on nothing but the Rap, Pop, Hip Hop, and even some Metal groups, (which are taking over the society we live in every day) promoting the use of drugs, weapons, ''shooting n*****s up on the block'', ''tapping that shawty'', and sex. these are the reason i would rather die than have to listen to 2 minutes of rap, there really is no meaning, no purpose, no intention other than the sole desire for money, fame, and fortune. TDWP is not like that, do they appreciate the cash and fame? yes, but they want their message spread, and ''I Hate Buffering'' is their way of saying ''GET OVER YOURSELVES, WE MADE IT HERE THROUGH TALENT AND EFFORT, IF YOU GOT NONE, GET THE FUCK OUT!''. |

i find that this song is about an older girlfreind, judging by the fact that ALL of my ex's think the lead singer is cute, im assuming she was extremely attractive, in which case, the ''Prom
queen'' reference come into play.
the ''Spilling every lie you spilled before/ still im not forgiving you'' is probably her lying to him about her true emotions, and he can;t forgive that, hence the ''Wjhat can i give to save us'' lyric.
i find that the ''Oceans between our hearts'' is about the tour, which may have also come into paly with the ultimate outcome, which i assume, was heartache, heartbreak and ultimate ending of the relationship.
All Together, this is an amazing song, i rate it as an 8.5, because i think the screams and lyrics leave people confused, they are however, very well performed. and i've never quite seen a mosh pit so violwent minus the ''This Calling'' pit by All That Remains in Baltimore 2009 |

what i got out of the song at first was that he was cheating on this girl. upon the last couple times of hearing it, i take as his struggle with drugs and the trouble of keeping a relatioship alive.
i've noticed alot of people thinking the lyric
''Everything i touch turns to stone''
is in relation to drugs, or some other subject of abuse. in my opinion, it can be taken several ways, i find the best being that whoever he touches, will stay in the same place waiting for him, when he won't ever return, as time would stand still and stone is motionless, almost like that of an obsessed or extremely in love person. either that, or its just a kick ass lyric Oli thought would sond good in the song. if thats the case, Oli, you are correct |
