I feel like there isn't much sarcasm in the song, not sarcasm but legitimate awe. I think the band were a little surprised with Brians presence, perhaps even a bit jealous. However they felt like he was a little too easy to hate, and with reason, since apparently it seemed like this Brian could steal some of their "Thunder". |
