I believe this song stands for the eternal pursuit of happiness, we devote our entire lives to search for it, we climb the highest mountain, look under every crook, to find the one thing that makes us happy in life. And even though it hurts to search for it sometimes, that the thought of the rainbow at the end of the rain keeps us going. |

Hah! I found out about him as, "That song in Gears of War". Yes, T4F did write the song, but Michael Andrews and Gary Jules took a nice 70s sounding song and pumped some life and emotion into it. I think a rather simplistic grasp of the song would be that sometimes you just gotta accept the way things are, and then drink your way through them, then let someone else pay for it. :) |
