Song has a couple teachings we can abstract from it; God DID become one of us in the form of Jesus Christ, walked the streets of Israel and all that, "a man of like passions as we". It then challenges us as humans, as christians, as humanity; how we are treating our fellow man, how we carelessly pass them by.. yet if he was the great deity would we i dunno, NOT pass them by, NOT take them for granted, NOT abuse them, NOT scream at them, NOT be cruel to them...
