Whenever I listen to Puscifer, I keep a very open mind. And by that I mean I think every which way possible the song can go. And for this one, I agree with rachanel's comment, it could be about a returned loved one from the Navy because Maynard also served our country. My other interpretation is he's talking about a loved one. Just gazing deep into that person's eyes and just wanting to hear and care about everything they have to say. |

I agree with you on this one. I also agree with the sleep deprivation. However, my two cents added, as you stated this may be a jab at Christianity, the song just be a creative joke. As in he met a girl but turned out to be a succubus, attempted to kill her but she just returned and the rest of my thoughts on the song follow yours. But I always look deep into all of Maynard's work. He said himself in an interview that for all we know there can be a shit joke in the album title. I also hear public toxication as well. |
