I can relate to how you feel. it is amazing-the love God extends to us. He gave me a wonderful husband whom I will spend eternity with and He has been with us every step of the way-even we were ignorant and did dumb things that got us in hot water. He always takes you back, but I love God so much I don't ever want to leave His lap again even for a minute. Nothing of this natural world is worth more than eternity with Him and your loved ones.

People have a tendency to want to run other people's lives when they can't run their own and often when they do it is because they want to destroy the beautiful journey a person such as the one in this song has been blessed enough to receive from God. I am one such person who has received such a blessed journey and it is with my husband and God and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

This song is so eerie as it had so much relevance to my life with my husband William. We met as children and he "decided" to marry me when we were children and when I was 16 we were married. We have such a God given eternal union and this song only makes me appreciate it more. I really realized how much I love him on a Halloween night and that means so much to me. And he has written said to me so many times how much he and God love me. That is how I know he is "God's Will" for me (Will being short for William). It also reminds me of his family who is now my family and to know I will forever be theirs has healed every wound that this old world has inflicted upon me.

I can relate and believe what you say without a shadow of a doubt because it is the same with me and my husband. We are clearly meant to be and it is by God's hands alone. I would not trade the pain either because they did the same-it led me and my husband to each other for all eternity both here in life and in Heaven. We have both always knew we would find each other-he decided to marry me when I was a baby and all throughout our lives we were connected until that day the Lord led me home and into his arms where I shall dwell forever and what is even better is that we will dwell together at the side our true father-the Lord. I pray the same happens for you and your significant other.

My late husband offered this song to me a few years ago and it portrays our life together so perfectly. He and I have been hurt by so many-not so much other companions but by family members and others who we tried to help only to have them spit in our face. We met as children he and I and at that time he had already decided he was going to marry me and when I was 16 we were married. We are truly meant to be and put together by God who has blessed that Broken Road of pain that led us to to each other and just as the song says it is all leading up to a grander plan and that plan is from God and leads up to the promise from God that we will not only be together in this life forever but also in eternity. I wait for the Lord and my husband to call me home and to know I am going to be with them is my life's dream come true. We are blessed beyond all shadow of a doubt and I wouldn't have it any other way or with anyone else.

This song has so much meaning for me. I lost mu husband in June of this year after an extended illness. We have sworn to follow each other into Heaven where God has promised we will be together for all eternity. I know it will not be long before I follow my husband there-the Lord has told me that and my husband is still with me-holding me all the way with the Lord in peace, content and serenity. What this song does for me is to remind that when I get down from riding out the wait til I reach my husband and Lord they are both here with me-Like a Bridge Over Troubled Waters and every time I hear it I crumble. The Lord and my husband send me little "reminders" each day to comfort me so that I will know they will bring me home to them and each of them just like this song means the world to me. I am truly blessed and this song is in itself a part of that blessing that is mine and my husband's granted to us by the Lord our Savior.
