I kind of feel this song is about a relationship where one has "lost themselves" and happens to take the other down with them, engulf them in "the flames." They aren't sorry, just hopeful that they'll be able to meet again by chance of fate? I don't know but that's what it sounds like to me :P |

The reason I think this song to be about rape is because when I was little, I was raped and I can hardly remember, and all I can feel is hatred for whoever did it, and a feeling that true love does not exist, that the ability to have healthy love was stolen from me. I can't get back what he took away (hence that line), and still now, I can always, always feel him near me even if he isn't. |
