| My interpretation of the song was just the other way around that Eric was praying to God. So the conversation is towards God but it is about his wife. I know they got divorced and I have absolutely no idea why or what happened to them but the song may be talking about just because they aren't together anymore doesn't mean Eric doesn't love her. Maybe not in the same way but he still wants what's best for her and that chorus seems very literal to me. "God if you find her let her know I love her," "If she hears you, ask her heart to come... (back to You God)...? But I think your interpretation is better hah. | |
