Yes, I think this is the song's main theme…and I have an interpretation of trees wanting to be haunted: Only old, majestic trees can be described as 'haunted'..think about it, nobody calls young trees haunted…..so the trees want to be conserved…so that they might be 'haunted' some day…a whole family of them, wanting to live. Love the song. |
