I highly doubt second wind has anything to do with second hand smoke, more likely the second wind is a boost of energy from doing a drug. Then obviously he's apologizing for the way things turned out, maybe he introduced her to the drugs and regrets it, or maybe he just regrets not cleaning up sooner and helping her do the same. |
