Why argue against him and then agree with him? you just totally contradicted yourself! While i'm not religious i think its mean to tell someone what they believe in is untrue cause if soemone believes something you can't beat it out of them it their beacon of light its just harsh to shatter that:O |

You guys are reading way too much into this, whether they're christian or not doesn't mean that the song has to be about christianity. This song could mean anything but only the people who wrote it will ever know what its truly about; this song can mean different things for different people. for me it means overcoming obstacles and living life to the full even if you don't know where you're going or what you're doing, but i know for a fact that my friend thinks its about love but we don't disagree on it. I love how everyone here has there own opinion i find it really interesting but i think it's kinda harsh to tell people they are totally wrong:P |

For some reason this song always makes me think that they're drowning and although they've been through some rough times he's telling her he loves her. The chorus sounds like he's saying goodbye, it always makes me think that that only one of them can survive and he has to die if he wants her to live. Also when he says "Please just save me from this darkness" it seems as though he's drowning and when he says "My words just break and melt" its almost as if he can't explain what he wants too cause there are no words to say how much he loves her. But i try not to dwell on the meaning of this song because it's one of those songs that is hard to decipher and i think everyone interperets it differently :) |
