Somewhere on the internet vocalist Johnny OC has a blog and i remember reading the meaning behind this song. What i can remember is that this song is about 2 boys, who when Liferuiner was just starting out would go to all their local shows. After Liferuiner got big they obviously saw less and less of them, after awhile Johnny found out that the boys had been killed (in what i think was a drunk driver hitting them). This song is a tribute to those boys. |

Great song from a great band. What i think is that this song is about the band from the start of their career to where they are now. "Seems like these minutes are getting longer waiting for these lights to go down" - Waiting for the lights in the venue to go down to start the set. "There were so many nights that I sang these words out into the open air" -Obviously meaning the nights they had shows where nobody came. "It is not enough to be silent and never make a sound So move your feet! Come on and be different; stand out" - Showing that the band wants you to dance/mosh during their set. Just my thoughts, who knows lol.
