| this song screams addiction to me. "I don't want to be a self-medicator But it's hard to sleep when you're born to run. I'm sick of living life in the Garden State Trap But all the roads are pointing home again." I know the feeling all to well when you use heroin or any addictive substance your home becomes a black hole it becomes a trap and all the roads lead back home to a trap that makes you very sick and tired. you feel no way out also most addicts are running from reality theres some aspect of it that they cannot face. i know the feeling of running all to well to. also when you use everyday begins to feel like its your last like your just waiting to die. "Holy Cross has got a headstone all picked out for me And my only job is to walk around until I fall down at it's feet" you feel like you sealed your fate because you cant find any way out and if you've never struggled with addiction you do not truely know what it is like so please do not comment saying addiction cant be that bad because the sad truth is theres no way around misery when you use heroin | |
