Because I forgot about all the people I knew last year. Aheh... My memory was dominated by all the people that didn't like me last year. But as I said before, most of them are more acquaintances than anything else. I just forgot about like 3 of my not-quite close friends (Jenna, Liz, and Desha who just moved back down here). And I cut off my ties to my fair-weather friend. She finally got me fed-up with her games. I wish I could hate her, but I can't. But, back on topic. Over the summer I had a practically non-existent social life. Then school started up again and I remembered the friends that I forgot about. That's how I changed my social life's status in a matter of days. Besides, I was very pessimistic this entire summer, so I figured none of my friends would remember me (as has happened in the past) because we weren't all that close. There are a total of about 5-6 people that I can have a meaningful conversation with. Over summer, I forgot most of them. Yes, I know I just repeated myself probably for the fourth time in a row, but I wanted to stress that point. Bleh... I can't believe that I forgot all of my friends, though. Bleh... And what about the punk rocking wanna-be boys? Don't forget about them. There're just as much responsible for feeding bands like this as the girls are, so don't be sexist. Myself, I don't like blink much (if at all), but my sister does (sometimes) and I really hate what all you so-called "true punk rockers" say about Blink fans. My sister is not a media clone, and she isn't a wanna-be anything. She listens to the music she does because she likes it. Don't just immediately classify someone because of the bands they like, or the music they like. Stuff like that doesn't matter when you're an adult. You won't be paying your bills off of everytime you tell someone they should kill themselves. That's not the way the world works, so get over your goddamned ego and accept it. Also, who is to say that Blink is gay? No one here can know for sure unless they told you. Which isn't likely because being gay is so highly scorned by the world in general, they wouldn't want it known even if they were. I'll answer the question for you. It's quite simple, really. If you mean emo as in allot of people consider it emo, most likely not. But if you mean emo as in a song that evokes emotions in someone because of the feeling and the force behind the song, then it is possible. Someone doesn't need to sing about a relationship or love for the song to be emo. It just has to make you feel emotions from the emotions behind the words and in the music. Quite simple, really. It all just depends on which way you view the genre / word "emo". By the way, this is Sox. I don't quite understand what he's singing at the end of the song either, but part of it sound like "Shut this out of this world" which would actually make sense with the rest of this song, I think. Aloha everyone! I'm Sox, by the way. ^_^ On that ID I'm at my 99th post, so I want to make my 100th post on something that means something to me. So, I got a new ID. Yeah, I'm sure that everyone out there wanted to know that. :) I'm happy, for some odd reason. Probably because it's the weekend and school doesn't start (again) for another whole day. Butternut, were you refering to what I said about my childhood? If so, it was all true. There's one thing that I never do, or avoid doing at all times, and that's lie. So, I explained where I was coming from, and why I am the way that I am. I'm not always stuck up online. I'm actually only stuck up when there's an arguement going on that I'm joining in on. And sometimes I'm not even stuck up then. If you read all my posts under Sox, I make some good points and I go into depth for the meanings of songs. And aside from that, no one ever really called me stuck up flat out and to my face until this forum. It was nice finally having a bit of variety in what people called me. And aside from that, usually once a debate is over, we're all decent to eachother. But here, when I thought that it was over, it just kept going. So i kept going with it. So, I hope that it's over now because school's started and I need to focus more on my studies than spreading my opinion to other people. And I found out that I do actually have a decent social life. I forgot about all the friends that I had. And I've even made some new friends. So, I found out that I have a social life, which is cool. Yeah, anyways, I forgot what I started out talking about.
