A beautiful song about a pair of doomed lovers. The story I'm hearing in this is there was a beautiful woman who had attracted the attention of a man who she would never love. However there was another man who she loved and had known every since her childhood. One Christmas eve they chose to get married in secret, however not long after they part ways her husband is murdered as he returns home. The woman received a vision telling her that her love was dead and after which she morns him until her grief eventually kills her. |
