this is almost exactly how I interpreted this.. except for the alcoholic progressing into drugs? "Murphys over indulgence with booze progresses into drugs. 'You bit off more than you could chew the first day you met me. Pager on call. You spent most of those nights in my bathroom stall" to me that is just referring to the fact that he was in too deep, over his head..and spent most of the time throwing up in the bathroom lol. good take on this though. | Brieanna is exactly right, in my opinion. I too have been dealing with bi-polar/ social anxiety/ schizo.. and this song is amazing breath of air. it makes you feel better knowing that youre not alone with this, and this is a good reference to give to people you're trying to explain whats going on. keep the faith to all who are going through this shit. | |
