Well, for me the songs is about a woman, who hasn't got over with old relationship. The "old friend, why are you so shy..." part is a question 'why can't you just confess that we still feel the same?' "I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited..." part is that she has been asking man back for many times, and he has explained the things she's singing. "Nevermind, I'll find someone like you" she tryes to say that she doesn't need he, even if she does. And with the 'nevermind' she tryes to seem indifferent. |
