| being pretty familiar with stephen merritt's sentiments and style, i get the feeling the relentless accolading of dc in this song is largely sarcasm. which i get. it's an absolutely gorgeous town with lots of great culture, museums, art, unfortunately the politicians can be a bit of a buzzkill. library of congress is spectacular though. | |
