Gosh! This song kicks so much ass! And the cool thing is that the lyrics can be looked at in so many ways! I can really relate it to being in a depression at the point where you first try to fight it. The darkness is growing larger and larger, killed your life and took the diamond, which might be your life spark. It can run to the forest and to the sea and hide, but never escape as you've made your choice to deal with it! Just some of my thoughts as I've been a kindred to a person which've fought both depression and an eating disorder. I don't think that's the acutal meaning of the song, but it's cool that it can be viewed from several perspectives :) (Sry for my weird english, I'm a sweeeede) |
