he's trying to change his ways and walk the right path, the path of God, but hes constantly at war with his old self, conceited and self serving. he's learning to stand up to his old self, and realizes that if it werent for his actions it would not have led to him realizing that he is lost. he has always done what he told himself was the right thing to do, and has no problem bragging and preaching to others, all instead of looking to God for guidance. the angel and devil are illustrated amazingly on the album cover, along with the crown. "and it'll never get easier, but it will always be worth it" AMAZING lyrics this song really defines what im going through in my life right now, and these guys hit the nail right on the head. |
