Maybe someone's already said this, but I realized it the other day and thought it was really neat. My car (Civic) dings seven times when the seatbelt's on in. I can imagine hearing that 70 times on the way home. |

There's no supposing about it... it's clearly about powerful hallucinogens. The reverberating, deep hums and phasing vocals are akin to the "tone", a buzzing or humming that one experiences during the onset of inhaling DMT, and to how voices and other noises can sound during the rise of the experience. Another example of their reproduction of DMT's common sonic hallucinations can be heard at the very beginning of "A New Way to Say Hooray" where his voice almost turns to staticy noise. |
