I think the meaning's pretty obvious in this. She met someone she's attracted to but is afraid to declare that she's in love with them because she knows there might be a chance that they're not in love with her. She hates rejection. This song describes me a lot! I'll never admit to someone that I'm in love with them! I'll hint, but I won't declare. I'll only declare if they tell me they're in love with me. And then I'll be like, "Now that you mention it, I am in love with you too!" Some people just hate to be rejected and end up looking like the fool! |
