| Anarchy Club – Behind The Mask Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| I think it's about someone with a scarring past who grew stronger from it and rose above. Could be about a superhero like the other comments said but I think it's about your average person with a sketchy past. | |
| Marilyn Manson – The Dope Show Lyrics | 14 years ago |

I see how it could have to do with the media, but I think it has to do more with sex. "There's lots of pretty, pretty ones That want to get you high But all the pretty, pretty ones Will leave you low, and blow your mind" This is talking about women who sell themselves, or even put themselves out for free. Their appearance turns men into drooling dogs so they can use what they get. They get them "high" with sex and the used are left low when they realize that's all they wanted. "They love you when you're on all the covers When you're not, they love another" The covers, in my point of view, refers to bed covers rather than magazine covers. They fuck who they want, and when you're not in their bed they fuck another. "The drugs, they say, make us feel so hollow We love in vain, narcissistic and so shallow The cops and queers, to swim you have to swallow Hate today, no love for tomorrow" The drug could be seen as both the sex addict and the used, they get high off each other. The sex addict is narcissistic by not caring who they give themselves to and shallow for never wanting a committed relationship. There are too many emotional attachments. The used love in vain because they don't want to see they're being used. Hate today (have sex to feel better) no love for tomorrow (you wake up next to a stranger you don't love.) Hope this makes sense. It seems to fit together for me. |

| Marilyn Manson – I Have to Look Up Just to See Hell Lyrics | 14 years ago |

Well, I don't think you're bashing atheists so much as making a generalization, or from what is sounds like, a biased opinion from your own experience. Remember that atheism can be interpreted in a positive or negative way, it really depends. I see it as more optimistic than pessimistic. Sin for gratification, indulge in being human because there is nothing wrong with it :) Live life to the fullest, because this is your one true life. This is the theme of Laveyan Satanism, that Manson goes by as well as other philosophies. Getting revenge on one's own negative life doesn't seem at all relevant to atheism. Atheism is about believing in evolution, rather than a deity or afterlife. It's logical, not digressive. |

| Marilyn Manson – Lunchbox Lyrics | 14 years ago |
|
Simply put, this song is about standing up to bullying. If you watch the music video, a kid is being pushed around by the older kids until he fights back. "I got my lunchbox and I'm armed real well" You know how the bullies are stereotypical portrayed as stealing lunch money? Now he's got his lunchbox-- a symbol of the "big and bad" assholes not being able to mess with him. |
