thats a hell of a explanation i loved it!! and by the chorous i think it is somewhat related to video "Say what you mean Tell me I'm right And let the sun rain down on me Give me a sign I want to believe" maybe he's telling her to accept the true fact that he was right ? he was telling her to tell the truth (refrence to "let the sun rain down on me" usually sun symbolises light and light means truth ) and the part in video where dead brendon is shown (omg!) maybe it means she killed the true him and covered his true self ..?? wad do u think ...? maybe when brendon wrote this song he was in dispute he was trying to think who was he and who's the true him maybe "someone " changed him and made him bad (maybe that "someone" is she in the video ) and now brendon tells her that he came to know the truth that someone was not true to him thatz why he says in lyric "let the sun rain down on me " and if thatz false according to that "soemone / her he says "give me a sign i wanna believe " he asks for the proof and the part he say "He senses something, call it desperation Another dollar, another day And if she had the proper words to say, i guess that brendon or him guessed it that there was something wrong . the him was a head of town (or we can say brendon the singer of band ) began to earn money in huge amounts..that "someone" was already playing with his life and now money too if she told him the truth that she doesn't loves him he would leave her and there her status and fame goes .. "Woah, Mona Lisa, You're guaranteed to run this town Woah, Mona Lisa, I'd pay to see you frown" according to the interview brendon had trouble seeking the true him it means that he was under some one else control and if this is true the line "You're guaranteed to run this town" fits in it means indirectly that some one is running him and his life but he says that she's or the someone's busted he came to know abt her games now he would love to see her real feeling that is frown instead of her phony tears that expalins the line "I'd pay to see you frown"" the line "There's nothing wrong with just a taste of what you've paid for " i guess he meant that brendon left that "someone " and he says he did it right and she deserves it according to the video i think he means that she was caught and the ppl who punished her they did right she was deserved the particular punishment and brendon is not guilty for it i thought of this do u think it fits ?!?!!? but one thing hats off dude to such a creative music it nearly took me 2 hrs to break this code and come up wiht this ..brendon has deep feelings :) |
