I think there's a couple of meanings that can be taken from this. I can't decide if it's a description of the feeling of accepting true love, or finding spirituality. Both things could be considered almost rapturous experiences, and there are lyrics that lead me to believe it could be either of the two. Also, is it "From steel's cold hand" (Which could imply death), or "From still's cold hand" (implying a state of emptiness or nothingness?) |

| I think this song is pretty transparent. It's a story of finding growth in pain and hardship. Sometimes the people that hurt you the worst are actually doing you the greatest good in the end, if you can make yourself better for it. | |
