having an abortion is more complicated than killing a human being, I know from personal experience (a close friend) has gotten one and it's not "killing someone" you are terminating an unwanted pregnancy, that's it. Going to full term when you have an unwanted baby is more problematic and emotional than getting an abortion, and I shouldn't have to explain it. There are also several reasons why abortions aren't technically killing a human being, they aren't really a full human yet, when people get abortions they aren't taking a babies life, their taking a fetuses life, but it is the best option sometimes. |

If this song is indeed about abortion, I highly doubt it's anti abortion, Alice glass doesn't seem like the type (yes there's a type) who would be pro-life.
This song might not even have a meaning, but if it is about abortion, it's probably just TALKING about it, rather than condemning it. It is possible to have feelings about abortion, and to feel scarred afterward without being pro-life. |
