Metallica – Disposable Heroes Lyrics 6 years ago
Sometimes I really appreciate how literal a song can be. I appreciate Metallica for writing a song that allows me to live vicariously through a soldier that has gone to war and seen shit that I've never seen in my life. I'm sure there are plenty of veterans that listen to this song that probably feel that Metallica got it right too. Disposable Heroes is a great title too simply because being a Hero is something every human at some point has looked up to or inspired to be, but when it comes to war, at the end of the day I think many people would trade it away if it meant just living a normal life. The truth is, if you're a soldier, you are disposable simply because you're conditionally trained to commit and execute without any concern for what happens after. This song portrays the reality of life for many soldiers, but I can't help but love it because there's no band better than portraying this message than Metallica.

Metallica – The Four Horsemen Lyrics 6 years ago
This in a lot of ways is my favorite Metallica song simply because the bass is so perfectly used in it. When you get the picture of 4 horsemen bringing forth Armageddon, the guitar riff and the bass mimic that sound perfectly. This song to me is a perfect representation of metal music.

Dream Theater – Blind Faith Lyrics 14 years ago
Thank you, stupidity isn't mutually exclusive to certain religions lol, you're going to find a moron that represents anything. Anyways, great song, very underrated song, and to me this is one of the best song's Labrie has written.

Dream Theater – Losing Time / Grand Finale Lyrics 14 years ago
I'm pretty sure that's just something that Dream Theater had done to merge their albums, they put a lot of "Easter eggs" in their music. This song goes into "As I Am," and if you keep going through that album, the last note on "In the Name of God" is the first note on "The Root of All Evil" from Octavarium.
