It could very well be taken literally, like the whole story of how he witnessed a car crash. But I think it could be his perspective on a past relationship (no it doesn't have to be avril like so many people are saying) with the line "I supposed to grow old with you, but that aint going to happen" and "I don't want to go, But it's time I got to say goodbye, So hold me now 'Cause this will be our last time" But maybe I'm to sentimental |
